Mobilizing?

On television tonight, a STRATFOR analyst said that Israel was in the process of "mobilizing a couple more divisions." Which implies at least one is already being mobilized.

This is for a major ground invasion to hit Hizbollah on the ground in the next few days, he said.

If this mobilization report is true, there will still be room for miscalculation on somebody's part for an escalation to a war with Syria and we'll have to see if Iran backs Syria and what the Israeli security agreement with Turkey includes.

And again, I'd sure like to know if Syria really is mobilizing reserves. If Damascus does this, Israel will need to mobilize much more to keep Syria from trying to capture the Golan Heights with a temporary edge in troops. And once Israel mobilizes fully, they pretty much have to attack fairly soon since the Israelis can't afford to have so many reservists out of the economy for long.
