North Korea told the United States that it must withdraw its description of the communist nation as an "outpost of tyranny" and treat Pyongyang as a friend if it wants nuclear talks to resume, a senior North Korean official said Friday.
Treat them as a friend? Just how starvation addled are they? If they were our friends we wouldn't care if they had phasers and photon torpedoes. It is because they are our enemy that we will not accept them as a nuclear power. And if we hugged them and called them our best buddies in the whole wide world they wouldn't believe us anyway, so I don't know why the paranoid North Koreans even bother with such rot.
If Seoul was a about a hundred miles further south we'd treat the North Koreans a whole lot differently. Truly they are annoying.
